This is a petition by Jacob Bloomstein, in the common law court, for a peremptory mandamus, requiring Thomas H. Sneed, tax collector for Davidson county, to receive from him $130 in the notes of the Bank of Tennessee, issued after May 6th, 1861, in payment of his State taxes for the year 1872.
