On the 19th of May, 1884, appellants employed appellee to teach a five months’ school, commencing September 1 st of that year, for which they wei-e to j>ay her §30 per month. She taught until December 15th and was then discharged by appellants for negligence, cruelty and refusing to enforce the rules adopted by appellants.
