New York Supreme Court November 15, 1886 (Hubbell v. Merchants' National Bank)

Follett, J.:

October 7, 1884, the Merchants’ National Bank sued the Syracuse Iron Works on its promissory notes. On the same day the Syracuse Iron Works appeared in the action and made an offer of judgment, which was accepted, and a judgment entered pursuant to section 738 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
