New York Supreme Court February 15, 1887 (Orr v. McGregor)

Bradley, J.:

The plaintiff deposited in the Rochester Savings Bank, -in June,, 1879, $140, and took a deposit pass-book in which the amount was credited to William McGregor, and in December following she deposited fifteen- dollars, which was, in like manner, credited to-him- in the-pass-book. McGregor died in October, 1885, and the defendant,, his widow, became administratrix of his estate.
