delivered the opinion of the Court:

This was a hill in equity, brought by August Huesing, a resident and tax-payer of the city of Bock Island, to enjoin the municipal authorities- of the city of Bock Island from main-taming an abattoir or public slaughter-house, and appropriating the means of the city for that purpose.
