P. M. Wood and C. P. Wood entered into a partnership in April, 1886, for the purpose of conducting a second-hand store in the city of Atchison, each of the partners contributing the sum of $500 as capital. C. P. Wood, for the purpose of contributing his share of the capital, and for other purposes, borrowed the sum of $800 from P. M.
