The Western Investment Banking Company brought suit in the court below against D. L. Murray, as *218treasurer aud ex officio tax-collector of Maricopa County, to obtain an injunction against tbe collection of a portion of its taxes assessed for tbe year 1897. The bank was assessed for the said year upon its real estate and personal property, valued at $7,045.10.
