Weeber brought suit against Fairbanks, Morse & Company to recover $2,740 for services rendered as an attorney at law. The answer denied the contract, admitted the appointment and an agreement to pay a reasonable sum for those stated as the first cause of action, and as to the second and third an agreement to pay under certain contingencies.
