This is a suit in equity for infringement of a patent. It was brought upon two patents, Nos. 535,981 and 535,982, but the complainant now relies only upon claims 2, 3, 5, G, and 9 of the second patent, No. 535,982. This patent, No. 535,982, was issued March 19, 1895, upon application filed June 20, 1894, to the inventor, Victor L. Emerson, assignor to Annette E.
