This was a suit brought by defendant in error against plaintiff in error upon three promissory notes of $3,000 each, executed by the F. F. Ide Manufacturing Go. on January 27, 1898, payable to the order of defendant in error on demand, with interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum until paid.
