The libel in this cause was filed against the cargo of the City of Genoa to recover $7,500 for salvage compensation. The alleged services were rendered by the libelant’s steamer Mecosta and crew in extinguishing a fire on the steamer City of Genoa on the 30th day of September, 1901.
