AIcPIIERSON, District Judge.

Alexander Armstrong, several years ago came from Illinois, to Carroll county, Towa, and engaged in farming and raising, feeding, buying, and selling of live stock, doing a large business. He became possessed of about 2,500 acres of land near Glidden, in Carroll county, and later on of more than 000 acres of land in Afonona county.
