This is an action for the possession of land. The Court intimated an opinion against the plaintiffs. They thereupon submitted to a nonsuit, and appealed.

The State granted tbe land to Lewis Jones, 25 October, 1852. This grant was not registered until 1888, at a time when there was no law permitting the registration of it.
