The plaintiff, as committee of the person and property of Adele Cherbuliez, an incompetent person, sued to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by her incompetent through the sole negligence of the defendant. The jury rendered a verdict for $12,000, and the defendant moves to set it aside.
