The bill filed by Sarah E. Backus as complainant in this case prayed that a certain State tax deed be decreed void, and that the cloud upon her title created thereby be removed; she claiming to be the owner of the lands described in said deed. After filing her bill, and before a hearing of the cause, Mrs. Backus died.
