Tbe respondent is averred and admitted to be a corporation formed by tbe consolidation, pursuant to sec. 1777, Stats. (1898), and Act No. 91 of tbe Laws of Michigan for 1887, of a Wisconsin corporation, called tbe Menominee Eiver Boom Company, and a Michigan corporation of tbe same name.
