Liberty Lake is situated about twelve miles from the city of Spokane and is connected therewith by an electric car line. In 1907, the *208respondent’s predecessor in interest owned land on the shore of the lake which it platted into lots and streets. The lots were then offered for sale, to he used exclusively for residential purposes.
