The city of Tacoma, a city of the first class, delivered to the respondent for collection tax books, duly extended, by which there was levied a total tax on the property of the relator in the sum of *215$45.98, for the year 1919. The relator tendered to the respondent, as county treasurer of Pierce county, the sum of $40.
