It appears that the appeal herein pending was entered by the defendant below in his own person on July 15, 1919, from a decree rendered January 30, 1919, the appeal being made returnable October 0, 1919; that a copy of appellant’s written directions to the clerk for making up a transcript of the record, was accepted by counsel for appellee, complainant below, on September *1416,
