Appellant, the plaintiff, in his own right and as administrator of the estate of his daughter, Rovelda Thomas, brought this suit against appellee, a corporation engaged in operating a ferry across White River, between Ruddells, in Izard County, and Mountain View, in Stone County, for damages to compensate for the death of his intestate daughter.
