Appellee, J. S. Knaur, Jr., by his petition filed May 20, 1926, in the court below sued appellants J. L. Jones, E. O. O’Neal, and J. A. Allen, as copartners engaged in the mercantile business at Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Silsbee, and Port Neches, Tex., under the firm name and style of Jones-O’Neal Furniture Company.
