These are appeals from two orders of the court below, the first denying a petition for a writ of habeas corpus against the sheriff of Los Angeles county, the second denying a writ of mandamus against the United States marshal for the Southern District of California directing him to forthwith execute a commitment on a final judgment of the court be*313low, after affirmance
