Plaintiffs are the owners of a tract of land in Shasta County known as the Childs ranch and brought this action to quiet their title

inches of water of Digger Creek against one M. L. Bouton. Defendant Bouton was a lower riparian owner on said creek, whose lands were situated on the opposite side of Digger Creek from the lands of plaintiffs.
