On the 14th day of November, 1931, the appellee, Louis Balmat, with two companions, Jack Reed and Stanley Price, between twelve and one o’clock, left Little Rock in Balmat’s car, a Chevrolet roadster to attend a football game in Pine Bluff. After eating supper, Balmat and his companions started back to Little Rock in Balmat’s car with Jack Reed driving.
