The instant controversy deals with the ownership of two promissory notes. Their maker, the defendant Balzer, claims no defense. The issue is between plaintiff as personal representative of the deceased payee, Wilhelmina Hochgraber, and 'the intervenor, B. P. Johnson, who claims as an endorsee.
