This was an action by a lumber company to recover from a contractor and the surety on his bond for materials furnished in the construction of a schoolhouse. Plaintiff sued for the balance due on the contract, $1,777.50, plus interest and costs. The court rendered judgment against the contractor, Carpenter, for $1,833.
