From the statement of claim in the briefs it appears that on April 29, 1938, the plaintiff commenced an action against the Chicago Biding Club, a corporation, on 50 first mortgage $1,000 real estate gold bonds of the Chicago Biding Club, a defendant, and obtained a judgment on that date by confession in the sum of $54,126.64.
