These five consolidated actions grow out of an automobile accident which occurred on April 30, 1938.

Mrs. Saverna Miller, Raymond Kammeyer and Eleanor Kammeyer were occupants of an automobile when it was struck by another automobile operated by Albert A. Meinershagen, Jr. The latter was instantly killed. Mrs. Miller, Raymond and Eleanor Kammeyer were seriously injured.
