Lizzie W. Broaddus died at her home in Essex county, Virginia, on January 24, 1922, leaving a will containing this provision which is pertinent to the present controversy: “I will the income from my Danville property to my husband except $50 a mo. to Martha Broaddus payable monthly, J. G.
