Pursuant to Act No. 10 of 1917 (Yol. II, p. 216), as amended, fifteen agricultural -workers filed complaints in the Municipal Court of San Lorenzo against the petitioner for unpaid wages. A sample complaint alleged a verbal contract between the plaintiff and the petitioner.
