By an original petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed in this court against Walter Nierstheimer, warden of the Illinois State Penitentiary at Menard, Manuel M. Wise-man, on behalf of Charles Stewart Willis, sought to obtain Willis’s discharge from the penitentiary.
