This suit against the State of Louisiana was authorized by Act 252 of 1946. It is one for damages to an automobile ambulance arising out of an accident which happened on the afternoon of August 10, 1945, on U.S. Highway No. 171 on the approach to the bridge which crosses Calcasieu River about four miles north of Lake Charles, and known as Moss Bluff Bridge.
