Plaintiff is a common carrier transporting highway freight in trucks and trailers. A considerable portion of plaintiff’s trailer equipment was purchased from defendant, a corporation engaged in the manufacture and retailing of such equipment. In August of 1944, plaintiff purchased from defendant two semitrailers.
