delivered the opinion of the Court.

Three actions for the recovery of damages were brought in the District Court of Mayagüez by Manuel Nieves Bo-net, Angel Torres and Mercedes Pagán against the American Railroad Company of Puerto Rico, as a result of an accident occurred on January 2, 1944. By stipulation of the parties the three cases were heard together.
