This action was commenced on October 1, 1935, by the filing of a petition in equity in the Webster Circuit Court by several plaintiffs who held various claims growing out of the construction of the O. C. Vaughn public ditch in Webster County, and who were issued warrants for the amounts determined due them by the Drainage Board.
