The contest here is between Gustav H. Bobertz, Jr., owner of United States Letters Patent No. 1,911,600, covering a transparent automobile hood, and the General Motors Corporation as an alleged infringer of the patent. Plastics Unlimited, Inc., a sales corporation and not a manufacturer, was originally a party to the suit.
