This diversity action was brought by plaintiff-appellee, Norman Klotz, hereinafter called plaintiff, against Sears, Roebuck & Co., defendant-appellant, hereinafter referred to as defendant, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained as a result of the explosion of a sprayer purchased from defendant.
