The administrator of the estate of Henry Malcolm Cliburn, deceased,

filed an action in the Chancery Court of Simpson County, Mississippi, against Jett Drilling Company, Inc.

to recover damages for the wrongful death of Cliburn. The action was duly removed to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi and trial was had to a court and jury.
