On August 29, 1968, the appellant, accompanied by Raymond Lee Williams, entered a Thriftimart store in Las Vegas. Williams went to the cashier’s cage and attempted to cash a check from the Zion Methodist Church. The appellant said nothing but walked to the other side of the store and stood around.
