This case is somewhat complicated and involved, so in order to make it more easily understood, we set forth the following factual situation.

Mrs. Evelyn Watts, plaintiff, sued Clayton Shell, a minor (age 17), as defendant. She alleged that Shell had shot and killed her minor son, Steve Watts (17 years of age).
