Steven Tillman and Earl Mims were convicted of murder, attempted murder and armed robbery in violation of Sections 8 — 4, 9 — 1 and 18 — 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1967, eh. 38, pars. 8 — 4, 9 — 1 and 18 — 2), respectively, in a jury trial in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County.
