In 1953 the then owners of an approximately 50 acre tract of land in the Memorial Drive area of Harris County subdivided that land into 46 lots. An instrument imposing restrictions upon the use of the lots was filed for record in the Deed Records of Harris County. That instrument restricted the lots to use basically, for residential purposes.
