HOOD, Judge.

This is an expropriation suit instituted by the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Highways, against Mondel, Inc., pursuant to the provisions of LSA-R.S. 48:441-460. Plaintiff deposited $60,801.00 as the estimated value of the property taken and severance damages. Defendant answered, and after trial, judgment was rendered by the district court awarding defendant $114,450.
