On July 16, 1970, William Nowak died from stab wounds inflicted upon him during the perpetration of a robbery at his grocery store in Chester, Pa., on July 9, 1970. Thereafter, on July 21, 1970, defendant, Ernest Frisby, age 14 at the time, was apprehended by the Chester police on a juvenile petition.
