The plaintiff, Jerry Lee Lucas, demands judgment against the defendants Officer Cale

and Officer Thurston, police officers of the City of ■'Covington, Virginia, and defendant Deputy Jailer Cole, employed as a jailer with the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Department, in the amount of $25,000 compensatory damages and $25,000 punitive damages.
