The appellee, Hubert Lamar Quick, filed a suit in the Chancery Court of Covington County, Mississippi, against the appellant, Mary S. Mathis, in which he sought a partition of seventy-six (76) acres of land. It was alleged that each party owned a one-half (1/2) interest in the land.
