HARRIS, Judge.

Appellant was put to trial upon a two-count indictment charging, (1) murder in the first degree, and (2) robbery. Prior to arraignment he was found to be indigent and counsel was appointed to represent him. He pleaded not guilty. The jury returned a verdict finding him guilty of murder in the first degree and fixed his punishment at life imprisonment in the penitentiary.
