Opinion of the Court

PERRY, Judge:

The appellant was convicted by a special court-martial of being absent without leave from March 25, 1975, to June 18, 1975, and from July 25, 1975, to July 30, 1975, in violation of Article 86, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 886. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.
