OPINION

CORNISH, Judge:

Appellant, Quinion Ray Leigh, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged in the District Court, Tulsa County, Case No. CRF-76-87, with the crime of Robbery With Firearms, After Former Conviction of a Felony. He was convicted by a jury and sentenced to serve twenty-five (25) years in the Oklahoma State penitentiary.
