Defendant was charged with seven violations of the Michigan Uniform Securities Act, MCL 451.501

et seq.;

MSA 19.776(101)

et seq.

The information also charged one count of obtaining money under false pretenses, MCL 750.218; MSA 28.415. After a bench trial, defendant was convicted of the false pretenses charge and two of the securities charges.
